Refer your patients with a recent ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) while still overseeing their routine care. You can help researchers prove that using a complementary cholesterol lowering treatment in tandem with statin therapy can help patients reach their guideline directed cholesterol goal.

Research clinics in your area are participating in the Victorion-Inception cholesterol lowering study involving Inclisiran plus usual care versus usual care (alone); open-label and are currently accepting patient referrals.

Offer the opportunity to your patients to participate in this cholesterol lowering study for those that meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  1. Must be a male or female of 18 years of age or older.
  2. Had a recent Acute Coronary Syndrome (STEMI/NSTEMI/Unstable Angina) within the last 5 weeks, defined as: Ischemic symptoms with unstable pattern due to presumed or proven obstructive coronary disease AND at least one of the following:
    Criteria 1: Elevated cardiac biomarkers (cardiac troponin)
    Criteria 2: Resting ECG changes consistent with ischemia or infarction AND additional evidence of obstructive coronary disease.
  3. Must be willing and able to give informed consent to participate in the study.
  4. Is receiving statin therapy, or have documented statin therapy intolerance.
  5. Does not have heart failure defined by New York Heart Association (NYHA) class IIIb or IV heart failure or last known left ventricular ejection fraction <25%.
  6. Currently being treated with monoclonal antibodies directed toward PCSK9.
